Before & After School Enrichment

South Whidbey School District is excited to announce a new partnership with Right At School, a nationally recognized school enrichment  provider, for before and after school care at South Whidbey Elementary Schools North Campus (South Campus students can walk over). Starting August 31, 2022, Right At School will offer the program to students in kindergarten through sixth grades. Register by June 30th to qualify for the After School for Life Promotion.

For those families who wish to participate in this program, it will be available before school from 7:00 a.m and after school until 6:00pm every day school is in session. Families will be able to work with Right At School to create flexible monthly schedules to support  their busy lives. Create your own monthly schedule by choosing 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week.  There will be discounts for Siblings,  Military Families (10% discount) and Free and Reduced Lunch families (20% discount).

Right At School provides families flexibility in enrollment options and a comprehensive enrichment curriculum to  keep students engaged while they participate. Students will have a healthy snack, engage in dynamic fitness  activities, student-driven projects, team building, leadership development, and have the opportunity to complete  homework. The program also features an enriched curriculum in the form of two-week units. Examples of units  include: Getting Down to Business: students are introduced to money and commerce; Icky Experiments: students  experiment with sticky substances to learn chemistry; and Variety Show: students rehearse and perform individual  talent acts.
